We act as the data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). We process your data only for the purposes stated here and only as far as the law permits.

The following data may be processed while you use the app:

• Account identifiers: name and email passed by Google or Apple sign-in (Firebase Auth)
• Approximate and precise location (for prayer times, qibla and nearby mosques)
• Advertising id: IDFA/IDFV (iOS), Android Advertising ID (AdMob, with ATT prompt on iOS)
• Purchase history and subscription status (RevenueCat)
• Usage analytics events (Firebase Analytics)
• Crash logs and device diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics, device_info)
• Push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
• Your app content: hatim progress, prayer and fasting records, calendar notes, group memberships (Cloud Firestore)

Every category we collect supports a specific feature we provide. We do not collect data we do not need.

• To calculate prayer times, find the qibla and show nearby mosques
• To create your account, sign you in and sync hatim and worship records across your devices
• To send adhan and prayer time notifications (only if you allow them)
• To manage subscriptions and serve ads
• To measure performance and detect and fix errors
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse

Firebase Analytics (Google): used to measure app usage with anonymous statistics. It may process device model, OS version, app version, language and region, approximate location and an advertising identifier. Your IP address is anonymized by Firebase. See policies.google.com/privacy.

Firebase Crashlytics (Google): used to detect and fix crashes and errors. When a crash occurs it may process stack traces, app state, device and OS information, an installation identifier and IP address. This data is used only to improve stability.

Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore (Google): used to create accounts, sign you in and sync your data. Your user ID, email (if any), session data and in-app content such as hatim, prayer, fasting, calendar and group memberships are stored on Google Cloud. Access is limited by Firestore security rules.

Sign in with Apple: Apple authenticates you and passes us a unique user identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email. If you use Hide My Email, we never see your real email.

Sign in with Google: Google authenticates you and provides your basic profile information (name, email, profile photo and Google account ID). We use this only to create your account and sign you in.

Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service): a push token tied to your device is processed to send adhan and prayer time notifications. Notifications are sent only if you grant permission, which you can revoke at any time.

RevenueCat (Subscription Infrastructure): used to manage in-app subscriptions. It processes your purchase history and an app-specific user identifier; by default it does not collect direct identifiers such as your name, email or IP. Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play; neither we nor RevenueCat can access your card details.

The app uses your location to calculate prayer times, find the qibla direction and show nearby mosques. Location is processed only when you use the relevant feature and only with your permission. You can turn the permission off at any time in device settings. We do not sell your location data to third parties for advertising.

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may process your advertising identifier (IDFA/IDFV or Android Advertising ID) and device and usage data. On iOS, permission for ad measurement is requested on the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) screen; the app works even if you decline.

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: on launch the app shows a consent screen via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can consent to or decline personalized ads. If you do not consent, you see non-personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings inside the app.

You can also limit ad personalization at the device level: on iOS, Settings > Privacy and Security > Tracking; on Android, Settings > Privacy > Ads. AdMob's data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

Dua Kapısı offers an auto-renewable Premium subscription. Premium removes ads and unlocks premium home screen widgets. When you buy a subscription, the following applies:

• The current plan and price are always shown on the purchase screen.
• The charge is applied to your App Store or Google Play account when the purchase is confirmed.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The renewal charge is taken within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. iOS: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Android: Google Play > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions.

The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are accessible during purchase.

Some of our service providers (Google, Apple, RevenueCat) may store data on servers abroad. In those cases we apply the safeguards required by Article 9 of KVKK, including Standard Contractual Clauses and other appropriate measures.

We keep your data only as long as needed for the processing purpose and within the retention periods required by law. When you delete your account, all related personal data is permanently deleted, except data we must retain to meet legal obligations.

Under Article 11 of KVKK you may learn whether your data is processed, request information, request correction, deletion or destruction, learn the third parties to whom it was transferred and claim compensation for unlawful processing.

Send requests to [email protected]; we respond free of charge within 30 days at the latest. You can manage location, camera and notification permissions in device settings and delete your account and data from inside the app.

You have full control over your data. You can delete your account from inside the app at Settings > Account > Delete My Account.

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot reach the in-app option, you can submit a deletion request at https://duakapisi.motivexintelligence.com/en/delete-account/. After we verify your request, we permanently delete your account and related data within 30 days at the latest. Only data we are legally required to keep is retained for the period required by law.

Our app is intended for a general audience and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (16 in the EU). If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child provided us data, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it as soon as possible.

Our company is based in Turkey. For EU users, GDPR rights apply: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. For California users, CCPA/CPRA rights apply; we do not sell your personal data.

We may update this policy from time to time. For significant changes we notify you in-app and revise the effective date. The current version is always published on this page.
